While par­tic­i­pat­ing in the most awe­some writ­ing moti­va­tion gim­mick ever, the #1k1h on Twit­ter, I noticed some inter­est­ing things. 1. That I am a pretty fast writer, more than capa­ble of pump­ing out 1000 words in an hour.  (Who knew?) 2. That the more ass I kicked, the more excuses and apolo­gies I made for my awe­some­ness.  I tweeted god-awful com­ments like “I must have writ­ten down the wrong word count to start” and “It’s prob­a­bly all crap.” 3.
