So I’ve been think­ing a lot about reli­gion lately. With all the news sto­ries about anti-masturbation can­di­dates, anti-muslim strife, book burn­ing and the like, I’ve gleaned one very impor­tant thing: I’m glad I’m Catholic. Those of you who know me in real life may be think­ing– no you’re not! I’ve never heard you talk about going to church! But, that would be a typ­i­cally Protes­tant response, because the one of the many beau­ties of Catholic folks is that you can’t tell our reli­gious beliefs by casual obser­va­tion.
