About the Series

For hundred of years, sea dragons ruled the oceans. They colonized all but a few mere habitats, bringing the dolphin-shifters under the yoke of the Dragon Empire. Living under semi-slavery, mere colonies fought to throw off the invaders. However, dragons brought prosperity to the mere in the form of business and goods, and kept mere habitats free of shark-shifter attacks.

As the 20th century dawned, though, shifting economic forced led the dragons to abandon most of their colonies. Some areas celebrated their leaving, other habitats fell into years of disarray due to the power vacuum and lack of protection from sharks.

The Ocean Shifters seriestakes place among modern-day mere, dragons, and sharks as they struggle to find equilibrium in a post-colonial world. From the Caribbean to the Arctic, mere, dragons, and sharks fight and screw. What’s more, all three species face a new threat—a scientific community that’s learned of their existence. The planet’s mere have never been more vulnerable. But will they turn to their former oppressors, the sea dragons, for help? Or will the old grudges put the entire Ocean Shifters world in peril?
